UNIFORM CODE - GRADES K-5
It is the parents responsibility to know the uniform policy and note calendar dates for formal uniform. Parents will be called if students come to school out of uniform.
Uniform skirts can be purchased at Saint Paul's Place located in Juan Diego High School.

School Uniform Information
BOYS- Regular Dress
Shirts: Red or gray Saint Francis Xavier polo
Pants: Long pants in black twill, flat-front style (no jegging type pant)
Shorts: (1st and 4th Quarter only) Walking shorts in black twill, flat-front style
Belt: Solid brown or black belt required
Socks: required, must be visible and matching in a solid color only
Shoes: Shoes should be appropriate for school (i.e. closed-toe, practical for indoor learning and outdoor recess, i.e. students should be able to run in these shoes)
Optional: St. Francis Xavier sweatshirt
BOYS - FORMAL DRESS (all Mass days, formal assemblies, etc.)
Red or gray polo shirt worn with the long sleeve sweater or the sweater vest
Black pants
Belt: Solid brown or black belt required
GIRLS - Regular Dress
Shirts: Red or gray Saint Francis Xavier polo
Pants: Long pants in black twill, flat-front style (no jegging type pant)
Shorts: (1st and 4th Quarter only) Walking shorts in black twill, flat-front style AND must fall just above the knee.
Skirts: Fairmont Plaid jumper, plaid or black skirt or skort may be worn in place of pants/shorts AND must fall just above the knee.

Socks: Socks or footed tights are required, must be visible and matching in a solid color only
Leggings: Leggings may be worn under skirts for warmth but must be solid black, matte, no pattern, with socks covering the bottom of the legging (no visible skin between sock and legging)
Shoes: Shoes should be appropriate for school (i.e. closed-toe, under 1 inch heel, practical for indoor learning and outdoor recess, i.e. students should be able to run in these shoes)

SPIRIT DAY DRESS CODE (First Friday)
Students may choose to wear regular uniform or Spirit Dress Attire.
Spirit Dress shirts must be:

Additional Middle School Uniform Requirements:
PE shorts and shirts must be purchased through the school. PE cannot be used for Spirit Dress
PE classes - athletic shoes and PE uniform required
Gym bag (draw-string bags are fine) to carry PE uniform required
House T-shirt must be purchased for House Activity days. House shirts cannot be used for Spirit Dress.
Optional: Middle-School-specific sweatshirt may be purchased through the Middle School and worn for regular dress. (K-5 sweatshirts are not permitted.)
UNIFORM CODE - SPECIAL NOTES
1. Skirts/skorts/jumpers and walking shorts must fall just above the knee. Walking shorts are permitted for 1st and 4th quarters only.
2.. Families are required to purchase the jumpers and plaid skirts/skorts from St. Paul’s Place on the Juan Diego Catholic School campus and the polos and sweaters can be purchased through our school uniform website.
3. Formal Dress will be required for all Mass days.
4. School Spirit clothing can be purchased on our school’s Spirit Gear website.
5. Clothing should fit well. Oversized, baggy or skin tight clothing is not allowed. Shirts must be completely tucked into pants and buttoned up. Top button may be undone when not wearing a tie.
6. Undershirts, t-shirts, etc. worn under the uniform shirt must be solid white
7. All clothing must be worn as intended by the manufacturer to ensure appropriate, professional uniform that does not distract from or hinder the learning or movement of students.
