St Francis Xavier's diverse art programs open minds and promote enthusiasm, self-esteem, skill acquisition, and enhancement of academic curriculum while gaining a deeper awareness of and appreciation for the Arts.

Weekly Art class for grades K - 8.
Each month students will learn different mediums, master artists, and techniques. They then create their art project using the same technique and style as the featured artists.

Students use markers, ink, watercolor, chalk pastel, oil pastel, acrylic paints, clay, and other mediums to produce artworks for display, share with classmates, and add to their growing portfolios.

Weekly Music Appreciation class for students in grades K - 5 introduces students to music from the Spotlight On Music curriculum, rhythm instruments, music journals and musical works of composers from the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Twentieth music eras.
Students participate in the school-wide annual Christmas Program and may participate in the school Talent Show.
