Principal's Message

Our school motto, Love of God, Love of Others, Love of Self, is practiced by the school community on a daily basis. Having moved here from Oregon, where I was a principal for the Archdiocese of Portland, I have experienced first hand the “love of others” from the students, parents, and staff of Saint Francis Xavier School. Rarely have I seen such a welcoming community dedicated to helping the "new guy" become acquainted and feel at home in unfamiliar territory. Thank you to everyone who has extended their hand in friendship and lived our motto of "love of others."

Although I have only been here a short time, it is evident that Saint Francis Xavier School is a community of learners committed to the success of all students and devoted to living the mission of Catholic education. The faculty and support staff work vigorously to ensure a rigorous curriculum that is challenging and steeped in the Catholic values of service, love, and faith. Parents are supportive of the school community by dedicating their time, talent, and treasure through fundraising, covering duties, and working in the classroom. Students are thriving, joyful, and maturing academically, emotionally, and spiritually. We truly are a learning community!

Saint Francis Xavier School is growing too! We have recently acquired final approval for our building addition which will provide 12,000 square feet of much needed space. The new addition will supply Saint Francis Xavier with a new library, science lab, two classrooms, a room for Extended Day Care, additional bathrooms, a music room, a multipurpose room, and faculty offices. Kindergarten will also be expanded to include a restroom, office, and space for our little Falcons! This is an exciting time to be at Saint Francis Xavier School.

I am delighted to be here as principal of Saint Francis Xavier School. With the new addition and the continued efforts of our faculty, staff, parents, and students, we will continue to live the mission of Catholic education though our motto of Love of God, Love of Others, Love of Self.
